Dear CEFC Family,

Masks are now required to be worn when inside the CEFC building to maintain compliance with the latest governmental directives.

King David said, “Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!  You have set your glory in the heavens.  Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger. When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?” (Psalm 8:1-4).

Greetings!  As we continue to navigate through the Coronavirus reality together, the need to stay vigilant and aware of any changes within our community, both local and statewide, remains a priority for CEFC’s leadership.  On behalf of the entire family we call CEFC, thank you for your focus on others, the health of others, and the welfare of others first.  It remains a blessing to watch us working for the good of others before ourselves in regard to this particular health issue among us over the last months.

As of this morning, Saturday, July 31, at 12:01am, our governor issued an executive order requiring the wearing of face masks in ALL public gatherings which take place indoors.  This includes our Sunday morning corporate worship.   Click here to view

Even before this executive order was declared, the CEFC has been humbly proactive to encourage all who attend CEFC since we began gathering personally on June 28, 2020, by practicing safe physical distancing, the regular washing of hands/use of sanitizer, and providing masks for all who enter the building.

So, for the next 60 days or so, that encouragement is now the law.  In following God’s Word to follow the laws that are put in place by those officials God himself has ordained which are for the greater good and/or health of those we share life with in our community, we want to be compliant (Romans 13:1-7).

We continue to maintain the same routine in regard to Sunday gathering for worship as we have been but with one addition–the requirement of masks while anyone is in the building.

Of course, should you have any questions whatsoever, please contact the CEFC office at 715.479.4327, one of our elders through the website, or one of our Growth Group leaders.

Thank you all for being understanding, gracious, and patient. Our witness to the world is allowing the saving Gospel’s power to work in our hearts, constantly demonstrating a spirit of loving obedience to our Lord, his people, and our community.  For those who are able to attend during this time, I am personally eager to see you all in the morning for the glory of Christ!
